On May 6, 2023,
the US Department of State, Bureau of Consular Affairs will publish the result
for DV-2024. The state government of the USA runs the Electronic Diversity Visa
Program every year and you can submit your application for the lottery. On
October 5, 2022, the DV-2024 registration period opened and ended on November
8, 2022.
As part of the EDV program, the United States provides permanent residency to 50,000 immigrants each year from all around the world, including Nepal.

How to Check
E-DV 2024 Result in Nepal?
On May 6,
2023, at 12:00 EDT, the Bureau of Consular Affairs of the US Department of
State will publish the Diversity Visa or EDV result 2024 on its official
website.
To verify
the DV Lottery results, you will need the 16-digit confirmation number that you received when you applied for the DV program on October 5, 2022, to November 8, 2022.
Visit
www.dvprogram.state.gov and follow the instructions below to begin checking the
results for DV 2024.
Check the
results of your DV 2024:
- Visit the Official Page, Click here
- Click on the ‘Check Status’ button
- Click on the ‘Continue’ button
- Then you will be redirected to Enter Entrant Information page where you have to fill out the required information like Confirmation Number, Last/Family Name, Year of Birth, and Authentication.
- Once the form has been completed, click the "Submit" button.
Your EDV
Lottery Result Status
Whether you
were chosen or not will be indicated on the screen by your DV result.
If chosen,
you will see that you have been chosen at random for additional processing
under the Diversity Immigrant Visa Program. You will also notice that you have not been chosen if you have not been chosen.
