OPPO A12 Launched in Nepal: Bigger Storage and Better Performance

Oppo A12 has been launched in Nepali market as the company's latest entry-level budget smartphone. Oppo A12 price in Nepal has been set at Rs. 18,590/- for 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and Rs. 20,790/- for 4GB RAM + 64GB storage.

Overview

Oppo A12 comes with a 6.22-inch waterdrop eye protection screen with a resolution of 720x1520 pixels and it is equipped with a 3D Diamond Blaze design on the back. It is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on top and features an aspect ratio of 19:9. The display also comes with Blue Light Shield to protect eye strain by filtering out harmful blue light. The phone measures 155.9mm x 75.5mm x 8.3mm (height x width x thickness) and weight 165 grams.

Oppo A12 powered by MediaTek Helio P35 chipset with an octa-core CPU and PowerVR GE8320 graphics. It comes in two variants, 3GB and 4GB of RAM with 32GB and 64GB of internal storage respectively. For more storage, it can be expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. It runs on ColorOS 6.1 that's based on Android 9.

In addition to the cameras, the Oppo A12 has a dual camera setup: 13-megapixel main lens with f/2.2 aperture and 2-megapixel depth lens with f/2.4 aperture. The smartphone supports camera features such as AI capabilities, portrait mode, Dazzle Color mode, and AI beautification. The rear cameras support video up to 1080P@30fps, 720P@30fps. At the front side, it has 5-megapixel camera for selfies, with an f/2.4 aperture.

For battery performance, it has a powerful 4230 mAh battery along with 10W charging. There is no fast charging support in this device. For security, A12 features a rear-side fingerprint scanner along with AI face unlock. The device comes in two color options, Black and Blue.
