OnePlus has launched the long-awaited OnePlus Nord 2 5G smartphone in Nepal. The smartphone features like 6.4-inch 90Hz fluid AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI chipset, 50-megapixel AI Triple Camera, 4500mAh battery, and more. It features a 6.43-inch Fluid AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400x1080 pixels, 90Hz refresh rate, and a pixel density of 410ppi. The device has a screen-to-body ratio of 20:9 and supports sRGB, Display P3 color gamut. The front and rear of the phone are protected by Gorilla Glass 5, while the frames are made of polycarbonate. Gray Sierra, Blue Haze, and Green-Wood is the three-color option available.
This is the first device from OnePlus to have a MediaTek Dimesity 1200 AI chipset. It's an octa-core chipset manufactured in a 6nm technology. The chipset is also clocked at 3GHz and comes with a Mali G77 MC9 GPU. There are three memory options available: 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 12GB/256GB. Here, OnePlus offers LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. The phone runs in the operating system OxygenOS 11.3 based on Android 11.
OnePlus Nord 2 5G gets a triple camera setup on the back in the camera department. They are a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary shooter with a 6P lens and OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation), an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor with 119.7-degree field of view and EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization), and another 2-megapixel macro lens. It has a 32-megapixel IMX615 sensor on the front for selfies with support for EIS.
Nightscape Ultra, AI Photo enhancement, AI Video enhancement, Ultra shot HDR, Portrait mode, and Night Portrait modes are the camera's other capabilities. The rear cameras can shoot videos of 4K at 30fps and 1080p at 30/60/240fps. The front camera is capable of shooting videos of 1080p at 30fps.
The OnePlus Nord 2 is powered by a 4500mAh battery with 65W fast charging capability, allowing it to charge from 0% to 100% in only 30 minutes. Gray Sierra, Blue Haze, and Green-Wood are the three-color options available.
