post-graduate training in Biobehavioral Medicine with proven experience and
expertise in the psychiatric and psychosocial aspects of treatment in medically
complex patients who suffer from a variety of ailments that affect the central
nervous system including but not limited to auto-immune, inflammatory and
chronic pain conditions.
Experience:
- Over five years of practice in inpatient, emergency medical, and consult-liaison environments with the ability to manage a diverse group of medically-ill patients.
- Over five years of outpatient experience with expertise in a broad variety of evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, IPT and psychodynamic/psychoanalytic therapy.
- Ability to network and collaborate with other medical and paramedical professionals in the interest of the patient.
- At least one year of experience of working with or treating patients from ex-patriate community.
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills.
