The Leprosy Mission (TLM) - UKAID


The Leprosy Mission (TLM) is present in more than 30 countries around the world and is working in Nepal since 1967 with its Health and Disability interventions, inclusive Development, Research, and Advocacy activities. TLM Nepal is leading a consortium implementing the "FOUND Project" in 5 districts - Kapilvastu, Rupandehi, Lalitpur, Kathmandu, and Morang over 4 years with support from UK Aid. The goal of the project is to contribute towards full and productive employment and decent work for all women and men, including for persons with disabilities, and equal pay for work of equal value.

1. Position: Cluster Manager - 3

Location: Butwal, Biratnagar, and Lalitpur

Minimum Qualification: Master's degree in Communication, Marketing, Public Relation or relevant area; At least 5 years of project management experience.

Key Responsibility: Provide oversite to implementation of project-related activities through sound mobilization skill, monitoring, and supervision of program staffs and smooth regular operational tasks at the cluster level.

2. Position: Admin. & Finance Officer - 3

Location: Butwal, Biratnagar, and Lalitpur

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or Business Administration or any related field, master preferred with 2 to 3 years of experience.

Key Responsibility: Support in monitoring budgets, forecasting, providing basic administrative and human resource function and reporting on key financial data that enable effective management of project funds and resources.

3. Position: Employment Counsellor (Officer level position) - 5

Location: Butwal, Biratnagar, and Lalitpur

Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree. in counseling, psychology or relevant areas of studies and at least 3 years of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibility: Assist people with wide ranges of disabilities in identifying job opportunities that match their skills and work interests.  Assess their personality traits, aptitude and requirements through mentoring, counseling, arrange training opportunities and closely observing them throughout the project period in order to capacitate them to enter and retain the jobs.
