OPPORTUNITIES - ENGINEERS
RAP3 MHLR is
a UK-Aid funded project implemented for 1) the construction of the Mugu Humla
Link Road and 2) to provide support to routine and recurrent road maintenance management
of provincial and local roads. It is also 3) assisting with the preparation of transport
master plans and building the institutional capacity of provincial and local
level authorities in Karnali Province required for road infrastructure asset
management under its maintenance and resilience pilot component (MRPC).
RAP3 MHLR
Maintenance Engineering Interns - 7 Positions
We are
looking for fresh graduates qualified as mentioned below, for a 6 month
internship placement, to be stationed at any of the Karnali Province Districts.
Qualification
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E.) from a recognized university
- Must possess good knowledge of spoken and written English
- Must be available to start in early Dec 2019
- Preference will be given to those with no working experience since graduation
- An essay written in good quality English and of no more than 500 words in your own words expressing original thought on “In your opinion, how can Civil Engineers contribute toward the betterment of Rural Road Engineering sector in Nepal?”
- Curriculum Vitae listing your educational background and professional experience (if any).
- Scanned copy of transcript/mark sheet of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
A panel of
experts from RAP3 MHLR will shortlist applications for interview. The decision
to Shortlist
candidates lies solely with RAP3 MHLR and therefore cannot be challenged. Successful
applicants will be notified at the earliest possible date, and are discouraged
from contacting
RAP3 MHLR office regarding outcome of their application.
The selected
candidates will be entitled to a monthly stipend and allowances as per RAP3 MHLR Norms.
