International Nepal (WVIN), an international Christian relief, development,
and advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families, and
communities to overcome poverty and injustice, is looking for potential
Nepalese candidates to fill out the following position:
Position:
People and Culture (HR) Business Partner (One)-based in
National Office, Lalitpur
Key
Responsibilities:
The People
& Culture (HR) Business Partner role exists to work with department
directors/ managers and their teams in an "end-to-end" manner, to
ensure that all people policies, programs, and systems are aligned with WVI
Nepal strategies (including the People & Culture (HR) Strategy), effectively
implemented and are delivered to" HR best practice" standard. The
position requires the ability and willingness to travel domestically and
internationally up to 5% of the time.
Minimum
Qualifications and Experience required:
Bachelor's
degree (preferred masters) in Human Resource Management & Development with
at least 2-3 years proven experience as a Human Resources generalist, including
experience in employee relations and performance management; should have previous
experience in the planning and execution of HR projects;
should have
experience of working with remote client groups; must have sound knowledge of
theory, concepts, and tools in all key areas of Human Resource Management;
customer service focus, with an ability to respond quickly to client group
requests, is preferred;
should have
ability to investigate and resolve employee relations cases and issues, in a
timely manner that supports WVIN objectives whilst valuing staff; ability to
influence and liaise effectively with key stakeholders and representation
within the organization is preferred; experience of working in an Emergency
Response team/setting is preferred; Ability to facilitate (and lead) design
thinking processes; proven analytical and data judgement skills.
Core
competencies for the position:
Excellent
written and verbal skills in English and Nepali; demonstrated proficiency in
computer applications including use of Microsoft office tools and design
software; should have influencing and coaching skills (ability to work with
influence at different levels in the organisation); Facilitation and
Presentation skills are essential; ability to work independently and as an
active team player; should be self-motivated and have a high level of integrity
and honesty; be willing to work under pressure; be creative and innovative with
decision making and problem solving.
