Some of the Most Common Causes of Hair Losses.

It is very natural for individual to loss 50 to 100 hairs each day under the hair renewal process. But most of the people at least once in their life suffer heavy hair loss. There may be various reason behind this; like chemotherapy, medication, exposure to radiations and certain chemicals, thyroid disease, nutritional and hormonal factors, stress or skin disease, etc.

In most of hair loss cases is temporary but in certain cases it may be permanent depending on the severity of the disease. Some of the most common causes of hair loss problem are explained here.

Hormones are stimulant to hair growth and causes of hair loss. Hormones affect heavily hair growth. These affect the health of both male and female hair.
Hair thinning is one of hormonal problems and affects both women and men. In female, hair thinning does not follow any particular pattern. In male, hair thinning is specific and follows a pattern from the front to the crown.

Hair thinning is caused by Dihydrotestosterone or Androgen DHT. Everyone has DHT but only some suffers with hair loss problem, are you wandering, why? This owes to hair follicles, which have a greater number of androgen receptors for DHT to attach with. Till date the most effective treatment for hair thinning problem is anti-androgens. Anti-androgens are preventive drugs that prevent the creation of the DHT. In the future we may get genes therapy for hair thinning.

Many of female’s experience hair loss after labor. In such a situation many of the hair enters telogen or resting phase. Some of females experiences hair loss within 2 to 3 months after giving childbirth.
Hair loss problem due to pregnancy is temporary and in many cases eradicate within time, say 1 to 6 months. This occurs because of the diverse hormonal changes that take place within the body during pregnancy.

Females who are genetically programmed with Androgenic Alopecia, if takes the birth control pills at much younger age encounters hair loss problem.

Androgenic alopecia is caused by different hormonal changes. Females who have history of hair loss problem in their family must consult the doctor before taking any birth control pills. This type of hair loss problem is temporary and may stop in 1 to 6 months. But in some cases, it has been noticed that a female cannot regrow some of hair that was lost due to Androgenic Alopecia.

A good balanced diet rich in varied variety of the nutrients is equally important to the hair health. The person who eats less of the proteins or has irregular eating habits suffers with hair loss problem.
Generally, to save the protein our body pushes growing hair into resting phase. If the hair can be pulled out by the root very easily, then it may be due to lack of a well-balanced diet. This condition can be prevailed by eating food rich in proteins and other necessary nutrients.

If person either may not have access to iron rich food or the body may not absorb enough of iron, then this may cause hair loss problems. The Women during menstrual period are more prone to be iron deficient. Low iron in the body can be detected by the laboratory test and can be corrected by taking a diet that rich in iron and iron pills.

Hair loss due to some disease and illness is very common, but this type of hair problem is temporary and lost hair may grow again. The diseases like sever infection or flu and high fever, thyroid disease may lead to hair loss problem. Certain medications, chronic illnesses, and cancer treatments also cause hair loss. A person receiving surgery faces hair loss as well. 

However, hair loss problems of any sort are generally temporary and it can be solved by taking good nutritious diet and the professional help.
