Chatamari is a famous Newari dish which is crepe made of rice flour and topped with mixed spices (chili powder, cumin powder, ginger-garlic paste etc), egg, mincemeat (buff or chicken) and seasoning vegetables. It is also referred to as a Newari Pizza with different taste.


The Chatamari is cooked on the medium flame heat which may take around 7-8 minutes to be ready for serving.

There are varieties of Chatamari like Vegetable Chatamari, Egg Chatamari, Keema Chatamari and Plain Chatamari.

They are usually dipped in a tomato sauce or in Nepali style achaar for a better taste.
